The issue of residential flooding on Victoria Street took center stage during the question period of the extraordinary session of the Lachine Borough Council on August 14. Several dozens of residents attended the meeting at city hall.

As a journalist, Carl covers municipal and civic affairs for Nouvelles d'Ici in French as part of the Local Journalism Initiative. He has been reporting on news from the southwest of Montreal since 2019. After gaining experience in various regional stations of Radio-Canada across the country, he worked as a journalist for Messager LaSalle (later known as Métro LaSalle during his tenure) and radio CKVL before joining Nouvelles d'Ici.
